Moyne Shire Council Hiring for Early Childhood Educator – Diploma, Centre Based Care Job at Port Fairy Full Time

    • Temporary Full Time position until 18 August 2023
    • Rotating weekly roster with monthly RDO
    • Located at Port Fairy Community Services Centre

    The Port Fairy Community Services Centre is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma qualified early childhood educator to join our team of early childhood professionals in a full time capacity over the next 12 months.

To be successful in one of these role you will need:

Qualifications

  • Essential – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (or working towards), in accordance with requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
  • Essential – Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Desirable – Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma)

Experience

  • Essential – Demonstrated experience of work in early childhood services.

KSC 1

Working knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, Frame works and codes.

KSC 2

Good time management skills and ability to gain cooperation and work as part of a team

KSC 3

A passion for supporting and empowering children, ensuring their happiness, safety, participation and growth.
