Mountain Lake Academy is a non-profit, experiential based residential school that works with 36 high school aged students in the High Peaks Region of the Adirondack Mountains.

Mountain Lake Academy is seeking to fill the position of Director of Admissions. This executive leadership position oversees the coordination of all aspects of the enrollment process through collaboration with the clinical, residential and education teams. The position requires high level of judgment and degree of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both internally with staff and students and externally with families and referral sources.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge requirements:

  • 5 years of admissions experience
  • Experience working with students with social, emotional, or educational issues
  • Training and experience admissions review process
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to travel to schools and conferences in NY State
