Mount Pleasant Group is Looking for Casual Receptionist Full Time

Canadian Memorial Services, part of the Mount Pleasant Group, is a funeral home company operating across the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for Casual Receptionist to join our team at our Pine Hills location in Scarborough.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Greet visitors to the Funeral Centre
• Answer a high volume of incoming calls and provide accurate information to callers
• Route phone and in-person inquiries to the appropriate staff members and take accurate messages when necessary
• Create documents, receipts and invoices
• Complete assigned clerical work as volume of reception area allows
• Process payments, service requests, wreath orders and special care orders
• Perform other sundry duties as assigned

Hours/Days of Work:

• This is an on-call position
• 7.5 hour shift
• Will cover Fridays & Saturdays May to September
• Opportunities for additional shifts on Sundays or Mondays as well

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to provide efficient and professional customer service
• A valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s licence and clean driving record
• Professional demeanour
• Commitment to detail and accuracy
• Hands-on experience with Windows and MS Office
