Mount Alexander Shire Council Hiring for Strategy and Planning Officer Job at Castlemaine Full Time

As part of the Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities unit, the Strategy and Planning Officer is responsible for providing strategic advice and direction for a range of sport, recreation and open facilities throughout the Shire.

The role will undertake strategic planning including the preparation, review and improvement of new or existing plans, policies and guidelines. They will also manage a range of consultants, contractors, project budgets and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience and qualifications, demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex projects in partnership with the community, knowledge of sport and recreation industry trends and issues, and proficiency with Microsoft programs and other software to deliver plans and reports.
