Mott MacDonald Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

With ambitious plans to grow we’re busy recruiting and looking to welcome an additional Talent Acquisition Specialist to our team, to support Mott MacDonald’s Program and Construction Management team in California. The projects will be within the Transportation and Water Sectors.

You’ll have the responsibility to recruit across a range of disciplines to fill immediate requirements and pipeline for future ones, and we think it’s a great opportunity to learn, see your ideas come to life and really add value in a fast-paced environment. You will work in partnership with the wider TA team and West Unit Leadership team to identify resource needs.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that you’ll spend a lot of time talking to people. We work as one talent acquisition team supporting the North America business. You’ll need to understand the roles, how we’re growing, and how we’re going to attract people to apply to us. Candidate attraction is one of the most important factors of the role. You’ll need to utilize a proactive approach to candidate sourcing and will be empowered to utilize the freshest techniques and encouraged to explore and trial new ideas. It is essential that everyone receives a first-class experience.

We have a hybrid environment, empowering people to adopt a flexible schedule that suits them. This role can be based near any of our California locations where you can pop in a couple of days a week.

We’re ideally looking for someone who has:

• 10+ years’ experience in in-house recruitment or staffing
• experience recruiting in the engineering program and construction management industry in California (preferred)
• an applied knowledge of direct candidate attraction techniques (pipelining, advanced LinkedIn Recruiter/Boolean)
• experience of developing and drafting unique job descriptions and appealing recruitment campaigns
• high attention to detail through a personable and professional approach
• ability to deliver excellent candidate experience in a candidate led market
• ability to work proactively and manage own workload
• ability to regularly travel to local industry events, networking events and career fairs

Salary Range: $90K-$120K
