The team is having great success, having recently won the Best Recruitment Team globally for 2021 in the LinkedIn Talent Awards. Our continued growth has created an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team in Sydney, NSW working closely with our Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, primarily supporting recruitment activities in Sydney and the wider Australian business.

As one of our Talent Acquisition Advisors, you’ll find yourself working with our senior managers to build close relationships. Using your creativity with multiple sourcing methods and skills to connect with both active and passive job seekers, you’ll be actively involved in our growth strategy.

You’ll be working as part of high performing, close Talent Acquisition / HR team that likes to laugh – a lot! While your role will primarily focus on NSW growth, you will be part of wider ANZ TA and HR team. You’ll be empowered to deliver end to end talent acquisition including:

• Resource and Talent pool for key strategic areas such as Rail, Digital, Sustainability and Carbon Zero candidates across NSW and Australia/New Zealand.
• Manage end to end recruitment for an interesting selection of roles across NSW and Australia.
• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead on Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives across ANZ.
• Assist with reporting and the design and coordination of Recruitment Campaigns and initiatives, such as, the APNA Alumni project, APNA Rail Recruitment Campaign and other specialist campaigns due to launch next year.
• Assist the Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor with coordination and engagement across our Graduate and Early Career Professional recruitment programme in 2022.
• Market mapping and engaging with prospective applicants.
• Shortlisting and scheduling for interviews.

Each member of our team takes part in choosing the right fit to suit out culture and business. We will rely on our TA Advisors to source the right people with technical knowledge and consulting experience, to join our rapidly growing business. Some of these attributes will include:

• Exposure to engineering and construction recruitment and search experience. Experience in an internal role will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work collaboratively yet autonomously and be a self-starter – whilst our team are here to support and guide you, we are looking for someone who is able to work, self-manage and prioritise their workload.
• Able to effectively manage high volume of TA tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment, with an open mind to and eager attitude to work across our wider ANZ TA team.
• Able to develop stakeholder relationships and confidently engage with a range of leadership styles across the business”
• Experience with using a range of sourcing channels to identify relevant candidates for current and future vacancies.
• Develop and maintain talent pools for client group.
• Be comfortable networking and connecting with new people/relevant candidates either virtually or face to face.
• Experience with IBM Kenexa/BrassRing and LinkedIn Recruiter will be a bonus!
