Now about the role…

This is a fantastic new role that has been put into the structure due to business growth, it is to really focus on bringing in the best possible talent into our HQ teams with a real focus on growing our Tech and digital capability whilst driving our EVP and ED&I strategy. It will report into the Head of Recruitment and Inclusion and be part of our great People Team!

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive recruitment specialist who can directly source talent, manage candidates and stakeholders and partner the business to bring in the right talent for these teams in the most cost effective and efficient manner while evolving best practice processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance current processes for all levels of Tech & Digital team hires.
• Partner with Tech & Digital leaders to maintain effective recruitment strategies, providing feedback, advice and market intelligence.
• Support wider HO recruitment projects as required – 80% tech 20% non-tech
• Identify and attract the best talent using a variety of sources (e.g. headhunting, social media, referrals etc).
• Focus on building high quality diverse pipelines, simplifying our interview processes, and being more proactive in how we recruit
• Use and embed best practice external sourcing strategies to attract and engage the best talent across Tech & Digital
• Identifying opportunities where Motorpoint can enhance our employer brand in the tech and digital space.
• Coaching stakeholders on recruitment best practice using available resources and training, providing an engaging and seamless hiring experience for all hiring managers
• Screen CVs and interview qualified candidates; sell Motorpoint as an employer of choice
• Track and monitor recruitment data, such as diversity of hires, hiring manager and candidate feedback, and using data with your business areas to influence hiring
• Support wider group HR Strategies and initiatives e.g. Diversity & Inclusion

Required Skillset

• Experience of working in a IT recruitment role
• Experience of successful collaborations with senior stakeholders and hiring managers
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to plan and execute with exceptional organisational skills
• Strong influence and outreach abilities in a high growth environment
• Strong boolean skills, experience with various sourcing platforms and job boards
• Data-driven with experience using analytics dashboards
