Job Description

As an Automotive Industry Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and placing top talent in the automotive sector. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in Service Advising or New Car Sales to leverage their industry knowledge and transition into the recruitment field.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify potential candidates for various automotive positions, including DP’s, GM’s Fixed Ops Managers, Sales Managers, Service Advisors, Sales Consultants, Technicians, Parts Interpreters and many more.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and experience.
• Build and maintain a network of industry professionals.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
• Utilise various sourcing methods, including local and online database searching, online job boards, social media, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
• Screen resumes, perform reference checks, and verify candidate qualifications.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients.
• Negotiate job offers and facilitate the hiring process.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to candidates and clients throughout the onboarding process.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in service advising or new car sales.
• Strong understanding of the automotive industry, including job roles, skills, and qualifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to the hiring process.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.

Remuneration

The remuneration for this position will consist of a retainer, plus commission, plus super. On Target Earnings for this role will be from $80k – $120k.
