MOT Tester – Falmouth Full Time

Ocean BMW Falmouth are looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician who is MOT tester qualified or with the ambition to train as an MOT Tester. The successful candidate will receive full training and support from Ocean BMW. Key Responsibilities:•Receiving and completing work orders.•Conducting MOT tests according to Ministry standard.•Reading car service manuals•Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.•Observing safety protocols at all times.•Rectifying faults and mechanical failures.•Conducting routine auto maintenance.

Essential Skills:•Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance•Strong attention to detail for thorough vehicle inspections and repairs.•Effective communication skills to explain repairs and MOT failures to customers.•Problem-solving skills to identify and rectify car component faults effectively•Technical expertise in engines, brakes, and suspension components•Ability to solve issues•Customer service capabilities.•Understanding of the MOT testing guide

Basic salary of £33,000 with an expected OTE of £40,000.
