Mortgage Now is Looking for Associate Mortgage Underwriter Full Time

I’m looking for someone that wants to work in a professional, yet casual environment. I believe you should have fun at your job but also be serious about what you do. This is an autonomous role. You will be required to maintain a home office that is private and secured. The position will have flex hours depending on work volumes and will require 30 to 35 hours a week. More on the flex hours when we talk.

Duties include:

• mortgage application review on Velocity and Filogix (electronic delivery systems)
• client database management.
• ability to work remote from home office.
• preliminary underwriting (you will be trained)
• documentation handling and compliance.( you will be trained)
• liaise with clients, lenders, underwriters, appraisers and lawyers.
• we use simple but effective software to make life easy.

You should have:

• working knowledge or Word, Excel.
• good organizational skills.
• good computer skills.
• willing to learn new software applications as they become available.
• experience in financial services is helpful but not vital.
• successful completion of the Mortgage Agents course or willing to enrol at some point in the future (financial assistance available for the right candidate).
• the ideal candidate will have some experience in banking or financial services.
• you must have good credit history.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
