What you’ll do as a Securitisation Trust Accountant:

• Provide accurate and timely Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS) reporting across a number of programmes and processing of payments for investor and other third parties
• Provide accurate, transparent and timely data analysis and reporting of a $3 billion portfolio to enable well informed management decisions
• Assist with the establishment of new RMBS and warehouse transactions including the production of data and liaising with third parties
• Liaise with shared services such as IT to ensure data integrity and availability to meet reporting requirements
• Financial accounting for trusts is completed for all Trusts on a monthly basis
• Input, record & reconcile financial data to meet financial reporting requirements
• Monitor daily cash flow including Trust Accounts, ensuring balances are maintained accordingly
• Bank statements are reviewed and reconciled on a daily basis with all dishonoured direct debits, EFT remittances and investigate miscellaneous transactions actioned and resolved within delegation
• Support the Finance team with other tasks as required including managing the loan management system, establishing new accounts and assisitng with customer enquiries.

We’re looking for a House Mate:

• with previous experience in a similar Treasury position with exposure to securitisation reporting within a Financial Services company is highly desirable
• that has sound knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices
• that has Practiced general accounting skills involving financial statement preparation and methods of financial control and reporting
• has knowledge of electronic account reconciliations, specifically bank reconciliations
• Must have MYOB experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Large database analysis skills
• Relevant qualifications from a recognised college or university with a major in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field
