Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Mortgage Ezy, one of the leading Mortgage Managers in Australia. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who can work within a challenging, fast paced, dynamic and friendly environment. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to work efficiently and effectively ensuring strict attention to detail across various different entities. You will work directly with the CEO and other department heads in achieving our financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Payroll and back up for absences
• General book keeping and back up for staff absences
• Trust bank duties
• Cash flow management
• Funder Fee reconciliation
• Monthly management reporting for CEO
• Monthly accruals for income and expenses
• Banking reconciliation and entry into MYOB
• Monthly IAS
• Superannuation payments
• Monthly and annual returns for Payroll Taxes
• Preparing and consolidating P &L for the group
• General Ledger and gst reconciliation
• Preparing company tax and BAS statements
• Commission audits for funders
• Quarterly management reporting / Bi annually for entities
• Year End Adjustment and assist reconcile Balance sheet / Trial balance with external accountant
• FBT return & Annual return for Payroll Tax for Australia

Key Selection Criteria

• Degree qualification (Business/Commerce) required
• Minimum 3 yrs experience in a similar role
• Finance Industry background is preferred but not essential
• Committed to quality standards and procedures
• A very high attention to detail
• Intermediate skills in the MS Office suite and exposure to accounting packages such as MYOB
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A strong desire to learn, responsibility for your work and commitment to professional development
• Excellent customer / supplier service skills
• Able to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
