Morse Micro Hiring for People & Talent Partner Job at Sydney Full Time

Are you a people person who is passionate about technology? Do you want to support the world’s best engineers and help them build the next generation Wi-Fi chips that will truly enable the Internet of Things (IoT) devices? You’ll work with the team that invented Wi-Fi 20 years ago, and help them shape the future of Wi-Fi for IoT.

You will report to the Head of People & Talent and will be key in defining, building and supporting the company’s People initiatives from operations and admin, recruitment through to employee experience. You will be a Culture Champion and help ensure our strong company culture continues to thrive as we scale globally.

You will be a jack of all trades and be key in helping us on the operations and admin side but will be able to help in any area of the People space.

This is a great opportunity for a non-engineer to join our high growth deep tech company! We’re looking for an experienced professional who can start immediately.

Main responsibilities include:

• Help define People & Talent strategies and then be key in implementing them across the business
• Be a culture champion and help define and drive Morse Micro’s company culture
• HR administration – drafting contracts, ESOP paperwork, staff visa paperwork, HRIS record keeping, etc.
• Monitor key HR metrics
• Help with general employee enquiries
• Assist as needed with the recruitment lifecycle from strategy, sourcing and screening through to offer
• Energise a group engineers and bring the best out of each individual

Essential skills (you must have these to be considered):

• Bachelors or MSc in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration or similar
• 3+ years relevant work experience in any area of HR – recruitment, L&D, admin, D&I, etc.
• Experience working with a global team and managing stakeholders from afar
• Experience or exposure to most of the following areas – HR administration, HR strategy, talent management, training and development and employee engagement
• Understanding of Australia, US or UK employment law and work visas (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extremely strong attention to detail
• Problem solver with a hands-on can-do attitude
• A welcoming and energising personality
