Morgan’s Wonderland Camp Hiring for Program Instructor at San Antonio, Texas Full Time

Our 102 acre camp is nestled in the heart of the Texas hill-country on the outskirts of San Antonio, TX. Our location makes us the perfect job destination in that we offer the incredible, nature-filled views of the country with all of the city amenities quite literally just down the road.

Morgan’s Wonderland Camp is a brand new, ultra-accessible™ camp for all ages and abilities, with a special emphasis on giving people with physical and cognitive challenges an opportunity to enjoy summer-camp-type activities alongside guests without special needs. Our staff and facilities make it possible for EVERYBODY to participate in ALL of our activities. Imagination, creativity, and innovation are qualities we rely on to make our campers’ life-long dreams come true.

Morgan’s Wonderland Camp is in search of fun, adventurous people to join our Fall Program Instructors from August through December of 2021. Program instructors are responsible for leading activities for our campers and guests. Activities include a challenge course, zip line, archery, horses, nature, hiking, biking, swimming, sports, arts & crafts, photography, and more.

No two days are ever the same when you are an MWC program Instructor. You may be riding horses on Monday, lifeguarding on Tuesday, editing photos on Wednesday, playing wheelchair basketball on Thursday, and zip lining on Friday. At Morgan’s Wonderland Camp, we cross train our staff to be able to lead every activity at camp making it truly a fall to remember.

Program instructors are NOT cabin counselors! Our program instructors have their own dorms on the other side of the property from the campers so that when they finish working each evening, they can relax and enjoy the company of their fellow staff members. Each dorm room houses a maximum of 3 staff members and has its very own bathroom! Our dorms also have 2 community kitchens and common rooms for staff to utilize.

Last but not least, we have a LAZY RIVER! Yeah! You read that correctly. It’s pretty dang awesome! Now close your eyes and imagine yourself floating around on an innertube under a sky full of stars, listening to some great music, sharing stories of your week with your friends. Sounds phenomenal right?!? We know and we agree!
