Talent Advisor Responsibilities
Following our employee progression, the TA will develop and grow our office wide programmes for those employees who are progressing in their career. This will include, but is not limited to programmes such as: Associate Development Programme; New Manager Programme; Experience Manager Programme; Return to Work Programme
Ensures that all new hires to the Glasgow office are provided with an effective induction ensuring a smooth transition to working at Morgan Stanley. Ensure that materials and presenters remain knowledgeable and up to date. Provide relevant modules for additional support during the first 120 days. Works with the Global HR Marketing Team to ensure that New Hire information/ documentation remains current and suggest amends as required.
With support from the Training Administrator (and in conjunction with EMEA colleagues), organise, review and promote additional stand-alone Vendor Led Training Sessions to targeted groups of employees, to develop their skills across a broad range of topics from Presentation Skills, Empowerment, Unconscious Bias and Employment Law amongst others.
Maintain relationships with our delivery vendors ensuring vendors performance is maintained, through regular reviews, updating the firm’s vendor management processes.
Work in partnership with vendor on boarding to ensure that new vendors are correctly vetted and on boarded prior to commencing any projects.
Reviews existing training content to determine appropriateness and relevance
Gather demand from clients and review people metrics with HR coverage to identify demands and trends to plan for the following year.
Conduct training needs analysis as initial starting point for new courses or based on evaluation feedback to make course improvements, using an agile approach to the development of programmes.
Review strategy on how to engage Line Managers of Programme Participants to support the overall Learning Journey
Produce accurate and timely metrics for programmes and contribute to the overall Glasgow metrics ensuring up to date and accurate data
Participate in relevant cross locational working groups and forums to share and leverage best practice
Contribute to the efficiency of the team by initiating process improvement and/or implementing improvements
Work in partnership with our HR Business partner team to ensure information flows and teams work in partnership to support our clients.
