We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the team at a process, manufacturing company in Liverpool. (Headcount circa 80 employees)

As a key member of the site leadership team, the HR Manager will define and deliver a successful HR strategy in line with business objectives.

This is a stand-alone, generalist role with support from the global HR team.

Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice to the business on all HR matters, communicate all policies and legislation

Proactively consult, coach and guide management on all employee issues; performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management ..

Partner with management on HR strategy and organisational development plans

Manager all recruitment processes; work with managers to produce job descriptions, produce offer letters and contracts and deliver on-boarding programs

Promote and support diversity and develop an inclusion strategy

Promote employee engagement activities

Manage payroll process for site

Update and maintain all employee records

Qualifications and Skills

Educated to degree level or equivalent

CIPD level 5 or above

Demonstrable experience of HR management in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of local and regional labour markets

Thorough understanding of employment law and HR practices

Highly organised and detail orientated

Able to establish partnerships and maintain productive working relationships at all levels in an organisation

Experienced of HR & Payroll software

Strong IT skills; MS Excel, PowerPoint

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
