Job Description
Drives defect reduction, process improvement, and issue resolution utilizing problem solving and data analyzing skills.
Drives defects to root cause, implements countermeasure, and s Customer concern response.
· Pilot review product changes and coordination.
· Utilizes statistical data to establish base-line metrics, opportunity justification, project prioritization, and gauging / ing improvement.
· Works with Engineering and programming on material requirements and sheet utilization for maximum sheet utilization through nesting programs.
· Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient Lean production methods.
· Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
· Understands how to perform time studies, create/maintain standard work instructions, and document within change control systems.
· Ability to work 2nd shift and Saturday Support as needed.
· Supports and participates in Morgan Olson’s PPS team efforts.
· Adheres to Quality Policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
· Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Associate’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
· 3-5 years of engineering experience
· 3D Modeling Experience Preferred.
· Knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing Concepts and Statistical Analysis and ing
· Strong communication skills: Verbal, Written
· Electronic Sketching
· Problem solving skills
· Basic PC skills
