We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Business Partner with experience in Organisational Development to join an established Membership Organisation based in Birmingham.
The HR Business Partner will provide strategic, tactical, and operational workforce advice on a range of HR and OD interventions and activities, acting as the HR and organisational development/design subject matter expert across their region.

Role HR Business Partner
Oversee and provide a proactive and comprehensive generalist HR&OD service
Lead on complex employment relations enquiries and difficult people issues working in partnership with recognised trade union representatives wherever appropriate.
Support the development, implementation and evaluation of new and existing policies, practices, and solutions
Act as a subject matter expert in relation to people policy and practice
Support the development of a positive organisational culture
Regularly engage with People and Organisational Development Management Team to design, develop and implement HR&OD solutions
Undertake robust and timely workforce and succession planning and support associated talent management
Provide expert advice and assistance with the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of organisational change.
Be a key member of the HR Operations Management Team, working closely with colleagues to deliver directorate objectives and deploying skills for the benefit of the team.

Skills and Experience
CIPD member with a Level 7 HR qualification
Up to date knowledge of good practice and innovative HR processes/policies
Extensive experience of generalist HR activities within a unionised environment
Effective staff management, individually and in teams
Ability to proactively identify, develop, implement, and evaluate ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness of service
Ability to diagnose, identify and use appropriate strategies to develop interventions and resolve issues
