The Role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Mill Operator is responsible to ensure the timely manufacture of animal feed and ingredients. This role involves shift work and manual labour in indoor and outdoor settings (training provided). Feed mill production experience is considered an asset but is not required. We seek people who will bring a collaborative approach, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and focus on quality to work with them every day.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Accurate manufacturing, packaging and labelling of feed; monitoring of automated mill software

Adhere to production and delivery schedules

Inspection, sampling and receiving of inbound bulk, bagged and toted ingredients

Loadout of product onto outbound bulk/bag trucks

Weighing of inbound/outbound trucks

Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as directed; assist in repair and maintenance projects as required

Proactively maintain facility cleanliness

Qualifications include
