The Adult Education program at Moraine Valley Community College is seeking an energetic and innovative individual for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position. This individual must have
excellent communication skills. Teaching duties will consist of Adult Education courses in reading, writing, mathematics, and/or ESL. The successful candidate must be able to utilize course supplements including Canvas and other appropriate web-based materials. This position requires committee work, peer collaboration, mandatory orientation, curriculum development, and continued professional development.

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in English, Mathematics, Reading, Education, or related
field required. Master’s preferred. Three years teaching experience in adult
education (ABE, GED, or ESL) required.
Qualifications
In addition to the above, proficiency in MS Office and other appropriate computer applications required. Experience with Colleague, Canvas, DAISI, and I-Pathways preferred. ICCB Standards
Proficient Training preferred.
