SNOW MAINTENANCE – SEASONAL POSITION

The Snow Maintenance team will be responsible for maintaining Moonlight Basin grounds throughout the winter season. Hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and being on call from 6:00 to 7:00 AM plus being on call 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM 2-days a week, if additional help is needed for snow removal. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:  

• Safely and efficiently operate various types of snow removal equipment
• Keep paths clear of snow and spread ice melt as directed 
• Promptly report malfunctioning equipment to Shovel Crew Leader who completes Mechanical Order Request Form

KEYS TO SUCCESS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Three to six months of landscape or snow removal experience
• Knowledge to operate power snow removal or landscape equipment
• Perform daily responsibilities in all weather conditions
• Ability to work individually and as a team with other crew members
• Perform physically demanding tasks for the majority of the work day
• Follow written and oral directions from supervisor/manager
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and possible overtime
