Moog’s Corporate Group *is looking for a *Regional Invoice-to-Pay Manager (Accounts Payable Manager) in our East Aurora, NY office.

This role will be responsible for…

• Influence over how Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense Management is performed across a diverse set of businesses, identify and action opportunities to improve performance using Lean/Continuous Improvement principles, technology and/or talent development.
• Ensure day-to-day activities meet daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly expectations. Provide guidance to Leads who coordinate day-to-day activities.
• Develop the future state for the business shared services function.
• Standardize invoice-to-pay processes for all operating groups.
• Fostering relationships with stakeholders from the Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, and adjacent functions.
• Be highly visible to staff members; provide coaching, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to Process Leads and Process Analysts.
• Ensure day-to-day activities of the value stream meet daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly expectations.
• Provide guidance to Leads who coordinate day-to-day activities.

A qualified candidate should meet these requirements…

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting) and 7 or more years of managerial experience required. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) desired.
• CPA or CMA is desired but not required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
• Experience worked in a Finance Shared Services environment is preferable.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; must be good at listening, giving, and receiving feedback, asking questions, and seeking clarification.
• Strong working knowledge of core finance and accounting business processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, etc.) and comfort with Tier 1 ERP systems (Oracle or SAP). Experience with Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and/or AP Automation solutions (e.g., Concur, OpenText, OnBase) is desired.
