Moody’s Investors Service Hiring for VP, Talent Acquisition Operations Job at London, England Full Time

The VP – Global TA Operations plays a key role on the global TA Leadership team by supporting the Heads of TA for each region, while reporting to the Global Head of Talent Attraction and Development. The SVP – Global TA Operations has global responsibility over all aspects of TA operations in order to optimize the effectiveness of the function and drive consistent practices and effective change across the organization. This position is responsible for:

• Activating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), internally and externally, and creating and executing our Employer Brand strategy, positioning Moody’s as an employer of choice
• Optimizing our investment in job board partnerships and TA tools and technology and managing our vendor relationships to leverage our partnerships and drive results
• Responsible for the TA brand strategy including marketing content design and social media strategy
• Oversight of the centralised Talent Acquisition coordinator function ensuring a consistent approach to interview coordination globally for both experienced hires and campus
• Responsible for the TA Technology roadmap and technology vendor management
• Governance and optimization of our global TA process
• TA reporting, institutionalizing our TA dashboard, and driving the function towards data driven decision making and a continuous improvement mindset
• TA Project Management
• Responsible for the TA Risk Register
• Staying up to date on TA best practices and new TA solutions to address opportunity areas and solve business problems
• Oversight of TA Training and New Joiner process
• Partnering with Finance and HR Chief of Staff on TA budget process, quarterly tracking and external search spend
• Coolaborate with the HR technology team to implement TA technologies

AVP, EVP Brand and Recruitment Operations and team will report into this position, in addition the role will have direct oversight and management of a TA Operations Associate and the Coordination team globally. This role will liaise directly with the TA leadership team, while routinely interacting with Moody’s HR colleagues (particularly HR Service Delivery and Employee Experience), Corporate Communications, and Business leaders.

EVP and Employer Brand Strategy

• Develop plans to activate our EVP internally and externally in partnership with Communications and Employee Experience team and develop a distinct talent brand for Moody’s
• Develop a strategy and roadmap to position Moody’s as a talent magnet utilizing our social media footprint (LinkedIn, GlassDoor, Instagram, Twitter) and maximizing our paid Job Board partnerships (Indeed, Professional Diversity Network, eFinancial, Naukri, PowerToFly, Mogul, Fairy God Boss) bringing our talent brand to life
• Partner with Communications to develop ongoing broad and targeted talent marketing communications for company intranet, social media / job boards and for Talent Community members
• Optimize Candidate Relationship Management system (Talent Community) and develop standard operating procedure for the global team to ensure we are building and maintaining an active and engaged pipeline of diverse talent
• Ensure our Career Site, internal Career Hub and Social Media / Job Boards are up to date with engaging content that promotes our EVP and drives
• Relationship management of our global TA vendors to drive partnership and ensure we are measuring effectiveness, optimizing our investment and continuously drive performance

TA Recruitment Operations

• Work in partnership with the TA leaders to create a global TA Coordinator service model
• Ensure consistency of process and service delivery including the implementation of SLAs and the reporting and monitoring against these SLAs
• Work in partnership with the TA leaders to create a global Sourcing Solutions function
• Identify key talent pipelines and work leverage the attraction tools to ensure a constant outreach to key skills in key markets
• Management and monitoring of the TA budget to ensure compliance to target, identify opportunities for savings or self funded investment
• Report on the value and ROI to recruitment tools and events

TA Technology Roadmap

• Researching cutting-edge technologies and evaluating the recruiting stack
• Identify technology solutions that will drive transparency in the process for recruiters and business leaders
• Identify technologies that will create efficiencies and reduce risk and manual interventions in the recruitment services and recruiting operations
• Partner with HR Business Systems to identify opportunities for improved system integrations

Data and Analytics and Risk Register

• Ensure that the TA Dashboard and other meaningful analytics on TA performance are provided to the business on a regular basis and quality controls are in place to ensure accuracy
• Conduct data analysis and use TA metrics to provide insight into performance. Leverage data and analysis to make recommendations and drive change and improvement within the TA function
• Develop presentations and reports to deliver updates to business leaders

• Lead audit recruitment procedures to ensure HR data accuracy and minimize organizational risk
• Identify the TA Key Risk Indicators and manage the risk identification and risk remediation processes

Projects, Acquisitions and Process Improvement

• Work with HR leaders on new acquisition process integrations globally
• Partner with TA Leaders and HR Service Delivery to drive consistent implementation of global recruiting processes and procedures, raising issues and identifying potential mitigations
• Manage global TA projec ts of various sizes and complexity; report progress against key milestones and ensure success
• Design processes across the globe to ensure consistency and standardization where possible
• Draft global TA communications and presentations for TA, HR and business leaders. Maintain and enhance documentation of TA policies and processes to create efficient and effective hiring practices and compelling candidate experiences
• Strategy and Leadership
  
• Partner with TA leaders and HR Partners to understand areas of concern and implement strategies and changes to address
• Understand future state needs and develop strategies to meet business requirements and hiring goals
• Gather intelligence, conduct research, and identify market trends for talent acquisition processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
• Manage the Recruiting Operations function to deliver high quality support to stakeholders and to drive globally consistent process changes

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree level education required, masters degree strongly preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management certification required
• Ability to provide thought leadership using data and analysis in an analytical and metrics driven organization
• Self-starter and able to operate with minimal supervision
• Experience
  
• 12+ years of HR experience with at least 7 years of focused in a Talent Acquisition function
• 5 years of experience leading Employer Brand / Employer of Choice strategy
• 5 years of experience leading a global team and training / coaching junior team members
• Broad, diversified analytical experience and the ability to use data to influence decision making and to drive improvements.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide projects and process improvements.
• Track record of resolving complex issues or challenges that do not have routine solutions
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Project and Visio a plus.
• Previous experience working with Applicant Tracking Software, CRM and HRIS system required, IBM / Kenexa and WorkWise preferred
• Previous project management of an enterprise wide HR / TA system implementation experience required
• Analytical nature; ability to assess data, draw conclusions and recommend improvements
• Project management and process improvement leadership
