Job Description:
As a member of our dynamic engineering team, you will:
Develop test procedures and conduct product testing, primarily for internal development use but may be called to support customer acceptance testing
Ensure the maintenance of the qualified state of Montrium products
Test the solution in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, and stability.
Research and develop ways to advance testing methods for greater efficiency and accuracy, preferably through automation.
Generate test reports, capture and track action items to closure and communicate status effectively
Work with software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve test defects
Maintain effective communication with the product and CX teams on product limitation and capabilities.
Build hands-on experience of the Montrium product line.
Collaborate with the designers, product owners and other developers to define and implement a best in class and modern architecture for Montrium’s Connect SaaS platform.
Manage your own schedule and work-life balance
Have full flexibility to work remotely or from our amazing office in the Old Port in Montreal.
Work with small cross-functional teams with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Help advance the team’s software development and DevOps practices

Experience and Soft Skills:
Equivalent of a university degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field required with 2-3 years of experience.
Experience using a ticketing/defect management system such as Zendesk and Azure DevOps
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required (competency in French is an asset but would help to integrate)
Ability to provide technical briefings to various groups and engineers
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Proficient in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites with tools similar to Selenium and LoadRunner.
Life science experience is an asset (knowledge of SDLC, appropriate GxP compliance, US FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EudraLex Volume 4 Annex 11, GAMP and other regulations and laws)
Good interpersonal and communication skills, team-player, ability to integrate well with others and capacity to lead by influence
A thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems
Creative, innovative, and efficient
Technical Skills:
Software programing knowledge (C++, C#, Java, or JavaScript)
Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred)
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
Understanding of configuration control (Git) and CI/CD principals
Well versed in SCRUM and Agile methodologies
Experience with unit testing, automated functional testing, and system monitoring
