Montessori Academy of Virginia Hiring for Elementary Teacher at Chesapeake, VA Full Time

Summary

A private school is seeking a Lower Elementary teacher for a small class size. The ideal candidate must have experience working with 1st-3rd grade students as the lead classroom teacher, possessing solid classroom management skills. The applicant must have a college degree, be dependable, reliable, and enjoy teaching school aged students.
Daily work hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Must undergo Background checks, TB test, and Fingerprinting.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, PTO
Salary: 30,000-35,000 for the10 month academic year. Pay ranges depending on experience.

Duties

Job duties to include: Student progress tracking, cards, parent teacher conferences, and individualized instruction.

Requirements

Candidate must be able to pass Background/ Fingerprint check requirements, TB testing requirements, minimum training requirements prior to start date.
