JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: International Student Adviser/DSO

REPORTS TO: Director of International Admissions Operations

SUMMARY

The international student adviser/DSO will work within the international admissions compliance unit. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain regular and consistent communication with admitted students, financial sponsors and recruitment agents so as to ensure expedited review and processing of I20
• Provide prospective international students with the guidance needed to start at Monroe (e.g. I20 requirements, visa application process, change of status, SEVIS transfer, etc..)
• Facilitate informational webinars, inclusive of planning and participating in orientation and enrollment guidance sessions
• Coordinate with regional managers to identify admitted student with likely potential to start and prioritize
• Support of all admissions operational aspects, inclusive of CRM system updates and compliance

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Ideal candidate must have experience in developing and managing relationships with a diverse student audience

· DSO experience, preferred

· Knowledge of CRM systems, a plus

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Detail-oriented

· Ability to work independently and in a team

· Efficiency and accuracy in work

• 8 hour shift
