Role Description

MonDay Magazine is seeking a proactive and results-driven Marketing Communication Coordinator to join our team. As the Marketing Communication Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing sponsorship opportunities and social media marketing for our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities to support MonDay Magazine’s initiatives and projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential sponsors, negotiating terms and agreements that align with our brand values and goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create sponsorship proposals and packages tailored to meet the needs of potential sponsors.
• Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
• Create and curate engaging content for MonDay Magazine’s social media channels, including posts, stories, and campaigns.
• Monitor social media performance metrics and analytics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sponsorship, social media marketing, and digital communications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the media or publishing industry.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Experience using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Knowledge of various writing styles and formats.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
