PROJECT MANAGER/SUPERVISOR, New York City, NY or Edison, NJ

SUMMARY

As a contractor the librarian shall be responsible for all activities related to the management and maintenance of documents and records, ensures that records are organized and classified in the applicable file structures, develops index for administrative records, indexing, scanning and importing of files, assists individuals in locating and obtaining materials, communicates directly with EPA Superfund staff and public stakeholders on requests for information from or about the record holdings, and maintains and updates databases/inventories of documents.

Should have either a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related advanced degree in a related business field or a combination of an associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

· This position reports to the Program Director or Principals of the company .

· Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must possess the following additional skillsets:

· Effective communication

· Problem solving

· Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

· Ability to travel on a limited basis, as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment in a secured federal facility, and remote work required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Depending on client requirements, some job related activities may be accomplished remotely. At the point of hiring, there will be a requirement to pick up job related equipment as well as a requirement for in-person fingerprinting for background purposes.
