The Opportunity
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Senior Vice-President (Enterprise and Governance) provides University-wide strategic support for industry partnerships, commercialisation, industry engagement, student entrepreneurship, employability and work experience, to provide a focus for achievement of the ‘Enterprise’ goals of the Monash University Impact 2030 Strategic Plan.
Monash is embarking on an exciting period of change and is investing in building the University’s Major Project Team capability and pipeline to support the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise) and the wider university. The role will play a critical role in strengthening and growing the Enterprising Education function and managing major initiatives of a complex nature with external organisations.
We are now seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Deputy Director, Enterprising Education who will be responsible for identifying scalable professional development and training opportunities for implementation within industry, government and communities. A primary focus will be to support the University in its revenue diversification strategy and will achieve this by leading the strategy, planning, and conversion of enterprising education.
The Deputy Director, Enterprising Education will work collaboratively across portfolios and build strong partnerships with senior leaders in Enterprise, Education, Research, Advancement and UMAC. This position will actively work to achieve Monash University’s key strategy to diversify revenue and to ensure an end-to-end coordinated approach to the achievement of the enterprising education goals within the Monash University Impact 2030 Strategic Plan.
