Allied Health Educator (Grade 3)
Monash Health is excited to announce an Allied Health Educator role in the Allied Health Education Team in the Workforce, Innovation, Strategy, Education and Research unit and to develop and deliver education for Allied Health across Monash Health
The Allied Health WISER unit at Monash Health drives an effective and sustainable Allied Health workforce through innovation, strategy, education and research. We explore and advance opportunities in Allied Health to improve patient care.
About The Role
This role supports, develops and expands training programs that build the capacity of Allied Health staff to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality evidence based education across Monash Health. The successful applicant will work with the Allied Health Education Lead to ensure that education and training programs are aligned with Monash health’s strategic plan, meet identified learning needs within allied health and are conducted and evaluated according to education best practice. The Allied Health Educator will work collaboratively with the broader WISER team to maintain partnerships with internal and external research stakeholders.
This role is a 0.8, Grade 3 ongoing position.
About You
You are an experienced clinician who has a broad understanding of allied health and the role education plays in ensure safe and efficient patient care. You have been developing your education and leadership skills and are looking for an opportunity to develop these further. You have experience in designing, implementing and evaluating education initiatives. You work well in collaboration with others and have excellent time management and communication skills. You are passionate about workforce and student education and the importance of lifelong learning. You are not afraid of learning new skills and exploring ways of innovating.
