About the Opportunity
Monash Health is seeking Accredited Nurse Immunisers to work in our vaccination clinics and vaccination hubs which operate seven days a week. The clinics operational hours have been designed to support our workforce shifts and clinic employees will be rostered for shifts 0800 to 1730, 7 days a week. Training in clinic processes, COVID-19 vaccination protocols and information systems will be provided and reinforced through a supportive environment. You will have access to a nurse educator specific to this workforce.
Monash Health is seeking Primary Accredited Nurse Immunisers who wish to work on a casual basis. Primary Accredited Nurse immunisers who are performing a supervisory role will be graded as a Registered Nurse Grade 3B according to the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020. This grade will also apply to experienced nurse immunisers who have previously been working in local government or similar settings (and had completed an approved immuniser course of study prior to the pandemic period).
Casual employees will work with South Eastern Public Health Unit Centralised Workforce (SCW)and be allocated shifts according to availability and chosen locations via our web based allocations system.

The Nurse Immuniser is an integral member of the COVID-19 Vaccination team and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of safe, high quality immunisation care
