About the Role

Reporting to the Recruitment Services Team Leader, you will work proactively to in supporting our reconciliation vision as outlined above with a key focus on increasing our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce.

Below are key tasks associated with the position;

• Contact candidates who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to provide them support through the application process.
• Guide hiring managers on our process when an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidate applies for a position.
• Create initiatives which increase the number of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander employees.

In addition to the important tasks outlined above, you will also support the recruitment services team in relation to the below tasks;

• Processing police checks for new employees to Monash Health and existing Aged Care employees
• Managing password resets and providing assistance for our eRecruit system
• Provide the recruitment services team with other relevant administrative tasks.

About You

We are now looking for a highly motivated, energetic student who identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and can work one a day week during the university semester and full time hours during the summer break. You will be currently undertaking undergraduate studies in Commerce/Business/Arts and majoring in Human Resources.

You will be highly passionate in supporting Monash Health to increase our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce. In addition, you can readily demonstrate:

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organisation and a proven ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and a key eye for being proactive.
