Monarch Media Hiring for Gambling SEO Writer at Vancouver, BC Full Time

We are immediately seeking 2-3 gambling and sports writers with several years of writing experience to help us build our online properties. Applicants should be experts in the gambling/betting sectors and will be responsible for writing 5+ articles per week (2000+ words each). Our group of sites target a wide variety of demographics which makes it more important for writers to be well-rounded.

• Slot Reviews
• Game Betting Strategies
• Country + Bonus Offers
• Software + Bonus Offers

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Content Manager to discuss and write assigned content.
• Using research from multiple credible sources, write articles and pages following strict SEO guidelines.
• Fact check content and proof to ensure readability and search engine optimization.
• Check the content on Copyscape or other suitable plagiarism checker to ensure originality.
• Write metadata and preview content to double-check for any formatting mistakes.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent written communication skills.
• Available Mon-Fri on Skype to discuss projects.
• Ability to meet deadlines while keeping Content Manager(s) up to date.
• Experienced with MS Office & Google Docs.

Payment/Salary

Writers are contracted and paid $0.03/word as a starting rate for all submitted content. Starting rate can be negotiated for those with exceptional experience. Payment is via PayPal or bank wire.
