Job Description Summary
Responsible for experience of the Moments Hospice newly hired employees. Ensures a smooth, consistent process for the onboarding of new employees. Acts as a Concierge providing excellent customer service to newly hired employees.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the collaboration during the onboarding of newly hired employees.
2. Communicates company and position details to new hires before their start date.
3. Contact new employees via phone, email, and onsite meetings
4. Provide newly acquired external employees with appropriate pre- and post- hire information
5. Schedule drug screens, obtain medical documentation, and conduct background checks
6. Collect appropriate caregiver testing and ensure all new hire documents have been obtained
7. Acts as a point of contact and provides excellent customer service to newly hired employees
8. Provides a consistent place for to ask questions and get answers or receive guidance as to how to navigate questions and concerns
9. Checks in with new employees regularly to ensure their onboarding process is going smoothly.
10. Provides personal assistance to newly hired employees to assist them to navigate the initial days of employments with Moments Hospice
11. Communicate, verbally and in writing, with recruitment and other support teams to ensure accurate and timely onboarding of new hires
12. Serves as the main point of contact during first days of new employees’ employment.
13. Functions as the go to person for the new hires during the ninety-day introductory period ensuring they have all the tools necessary and are trained correctly in their new position.
14. Provides the highest level of customer service to caregivers, field staff, clients, patients, offices, and coworkers during the new hire period.
15. Work collaboratively with the RN educators to ensure that employees are trained with all the necessary skills and that new hires attended all the required new hire educations.
16. Follow potential employees from offer letter through orientation.
17. Assist Newly hired employees with problem solving and answering questions and helping them navigate Moments Hospice during their early employment period.
18. Directs the implementation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure that consistent employee onboarding procedures are handled in accordance with applicable law and regulation.
19. Contribute to the culture of the office, which is defined as being high energy, having strong accountability, and team orientation while focusing on professional development, proficiency in essential job functions and continuous improvement.
20. Assist the Director of Onboarding with other functions as directed.
21. Assists the newly hired employees with the electronic systems as directed/needed.
22. Works with the management team in identifying process improvement in the onboarding process.
23. Organize and facilitate company’s onboarding procedures for new hires.
24. Maintains confidentiality of all employee information.
25. Makes recommendations regarding organization efficiencies and personnel satisfaction with onboarding process.

Position Qualifications
1. Previous experience-healthcare preferred
2. Excellent communication both orally and written
3. Personable yet professional
4. Analytical skills, detail oriented and proactive approach to problem solving
5. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
6. Strong attention to detail, including accurate documentation
7. Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English.
8. Must be able to relate positively and favorably to the volunteers, patients, families and outside agencies and to work cooperatively with other employees.
9. Must understand and accept hospice philosophy.
10. HR and onboarding experience required.
11. Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
12. Must demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
13. Must comply with acceptable professional standards and practice.
14. Must have reliable transportation and maintain a current driver license in the state and maintain automobile liability insurance.
15. Has knowledge of state, federal and CHAP regulations relating to employment and employee education.
16. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills and public relations skills.
17. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, and flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
