Full Job Description
Our client in Great Barrington is seeking a Medical Office Assistant for a primarily Clerical role within their practice. They will consider those with or without Medical Assisting Certification, and pay will be by certification or Experience. This is a temp to hire position, with a pay range between $17.25-18.28/HR. Pay increases this coming October!
The Medical Office Assistant will:
- Greet and check in patients in a warm and welcoming manner
- Verify and update demographics and insurance information
- Handle incoming calls, direct callers, schedule appointments
- Make referral and follow up calls
- Communicate with Clinical staff
- Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor
This is a Full Time, Monday through Friday position with no nights or weekends. Temp only candidates may be considered at a higher rate of pay until the position is filled.
