We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join Mock Woodworking.

Successful candidate will be collaborative with attention to detail with record keeping and accounting functions.

Candidate would benefit from any CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING OR MANUFACTURING ACCOUNTING experience. Mock Woodworking uses PERCENTAGE OF COMPLETION accounting process. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Percentage of Completion, ERP systems all a plus.

Responsibilities:

A/R – invoicing and collecting open receivables. A/R volume is not large, but function is important to this position and one of the larger responsibilities given progressive billings and nature of manufacturing and construction business.

• Collections – Follow up on delinquent accounts receivable.

A/P – paying bills, subcontractors, and preparing & receiving purchase orders.

• Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable.

• Functions and reporting within Microsoft Dynamics.

• Keeps records and pre-qualifications forms current with general contractors.

• Supports accounting operations by tracking change-orders, contracts and progress billings. This is an important function of the Percentage of Completion accounting process, and an important role of this position. Past experience with construction or manufacturing accounting a plus.

• Supports accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs.

• Credit Card Transaction Reconciliation.

• Journal Entries.

• Assist Controller as needed with monthly close.

• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

• Supports Human Resources

• Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements:

5+ years Accounting and Bookkeeping experience

Degree beneficial, but not necessary with proper skill level

Proficient with MS Office, especially EXCEL
