Who Are We Looking For?
You are an experience IT project manager with a track record of leading the full life cycle of multiple, simultaneous, projects. You have a track record of delivering cloud-based projects on scope / quality, time, and budget in a matrix-based environment. You have a track record of owning the relationship with external clients.
Reporting to the Project Management Director, you are key in contributing to the growth of Mobiz. Therefore, you are a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Working collaboratively with our globally distributed teams you will:
Lead the full lifecycle of cloud and automation solutions projects, managing challenging and complex projects with very demanding clients and with little oversight.
Execute flawlessly: lead internally the entire project cycle in an agile environment, from post-contract signature to post-implementation, including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control, working in a matrix-based organization with the engineering / product delivery teams.
Lead the relationship with clients, manage communications between the clients and the internal teams, and lead the change order process.
In the start-up phase, set project goals and develop associated plans in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
In the execution phase, manage milestones for successful, on-time, on-budget completion, providing reporting as necessary against baseline schedule.
In the closing phase, conduct post-project lessons learned meetings and ensure identified improvements are incorporated in our tools and processes.
Maintain and report on Risk, Actions, Issues and Decision (RAID Log) for projects
Prepare status updates (project dashboard and status reports) and lead project reviews.
Collaborate with fellow PMs on project staffing and task allocation, standardization, and process improvements
Provide feedback to technical teams leads on the performance of the project team.
Qualifications and experience you will need
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or commerce required.
Project Management institute (PMI) certified, as a PMP, PMI-ACP, or PgMP.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in directly managing digital transformation project teams in an agile/waterfall environment, preferably using Jira, for infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, software development and/or ITSEC projects
Minimum of 5 years of direct B2B client-facing experience with relationship ownership, preferably for a cloud and application solutions/services provider or as a consultant.
Experience with Citrix, Azure, Palo Alto Networks, or AWS is desired.
Experience preferred in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, network security, application development and management, business applications and/or analytics, enterprise ecosystems; helpdesks and managed solutions are an asset.
