Job Title: Strategic Key Account Manager

Services: International Freight Forwarding, Domestic Logistics & Fulfillment

Location: Los Angeles, California

Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year, plus Bonus

Role Overview:

As the Strategic Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in their customer-centric division based in Los Angeles. You will manage a carefully selected portfolio of Enterprise Key Accounts, focusing on International Freight Forwarding, Domestic Logistics & Fulfillment. Your track record in developing existing customer accounts will be essential for this career-enhancing opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop Business Opportunities:

• Create and maintain an Account Development Plan & Strategy aligned with company and client objectives.
• Systematically track, progress, and fulfil all agreed deliverables.
• Identify and maximize opportunities to expand product/service offerings.
• Stay updated on market developments related to clients’ business.

Contract & Performance Management:

• Ensure the delivery of services meets agreed-upon service levels in contracts.
• Monitor service level performance weekly and monthly.
• Identify trends, problems, and propose potential solutions.
• Establish a problem escalation process with the client.
• Complete, review, and analyze s and data for clients.

Project Management:

• Take ownership of client improvement projects.
• Provide regular status s on each project, meeting agreed target achievements.

Manage Internal & External Relationships:

• Develop enduring relationships at all levels within clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Facilitate internal and external communication through weekly, monthly, and quarterly routines.
• Identify issues requiring engagement with internal teams or escalation to the account sponsor.

Experience Required:

• Prior experience in International Freight Forwarding.
• Proven Key Account Management expertise.
• Strong communication skills.
• Business and Commercial Acumen.
• Proficient in Relationship Management.
• Demonstrated Strategic Vision and Planning abilities.
• Problem-solving and Project Management capabilities.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
