Mnet Health Hiring for Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager Job at Aliso Viejo, CA Full Time

We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager to oversee the entire process of collecting payments from our company’s customers. The main responsibilities for this role include managing invoices, handling missed payments and supervising Accounts Receivable Clerks. Our ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end. If you have previous experience managing a financial team, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout our entire accounts receivable process.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely completion, entry, processing, and financial reporting of all payables. This includes responsibility for working collaboratively with other department managers and supervisors to submit companywide payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the payroll timelines. (30%)
• Responsible for timely completion, oversight, financial reporting of all accounts receivables activities including customer contract compliance, sales tax application, and continuous improvement initiatives. (25%)
• Oversees patient payments team, monitors all follow-up inquiries and negotiations with past due Mnet client accounts. (20%)
• Collaborate with CFO and Accounting to complete monthly close process and any other relevant financial reporting. (15%)
• Conducts the hiring, training, disciplinary, annual reviews, and termination process of all direct reports. (10%)
• Collaborates with external vendors for ensuring proper processing and completion of state licensing.
• Responsible for consulting and collaborating with QA department for compliance auditing, investigations, adherence and continuous improvement.

Skills

• Ability to independently supervise and lead department personnel.
• Working knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), Insurance Payments, and any other relative healthcare payment/financial transactions.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable management and vendor management
• Understand payroll administration, accounting, and financial management for healthcare billing.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills in communicating complex processes into simple and easy-to-understand concepts.
• Ability to facilitate strong team collaboration and communication.
• Effective communication skills at all organizational levels and across diverse cultures.
