We are looking for a Commercial Executive to join our very busy Commercial Team.

In a nutshell, what you will be doing is:
Working to support the MM Flowers Senior Management team, Directors and Commercial teams and cross-functionally with all departments. Communicating daily with a range of customers, managing long-term positive relationships whilst meeting the customer requirements. Supporting the fulfilment of the commercial responsibilities by ensuring all systems, Bills of Materials (BOMS), product codes and mechanics for each account are set up and maintained in an organised and methodical way.

On a daily basis, you will be:

• In daily contact with multiple customers including buyers/product developers/technologists and Supply Chain Managers
• Swiftly responding to all ad-hoc requests from customers and prioritising effectively
• Assisting in managing customer and grower visits to MM Flowers
• Communicating changes which take place to the product range, daily orders, pricing and product details
• Assisting in the construction of range presentations via the gate process
• Ensuring agreed prices are up to date in Rubicon and customer systems
• Quickly understanding the varied nature of internal and external software systems and utilising these appropriately
• Working alongside the Technical team to ensure product specifications are correct and technical advice is considered and incorporated

What you will already be able to do:

• Have outstanding levels of data entry and co-ordination skills
• Confidence in resolving daily issues which may affect our service level
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Prepare and implementing peak planning models

It’s not essential, but we would also love it if you have:

• Experience in a similar role within fresh produce, food production and/or FMCG environment
• Experience of operating packing machinery
• Experience with Rubicon ERP systems
• Experience of Lean manufacturing implementations

• Excellent motivation and communication skills, confidence to communicate effectively with the different business areas and key stakeholders

• The ability to work well when under pressure and working to tight deadlines
