Description
This exciting role as a Software Development Apprentice will give you the opportunity to develop your professional software development knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will assist the software development team of Corporate Financial IT in programming and testing.
Main responsibilities:
- To write quality software program code with knowledge of Java or other technologies.
- To produce SQL scripts for reporting purposes.
- To conduct testing to ensure high quality of deliverables.
- To deliver an automated testing program.
Desirable skills and qualities:
- Basic software programming knowledge
- Java programming
Entry requirements
GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent.
Training to be provided
Software Developer Level 4.
Training with Milton Keynes College.
Ongoing training, support and development with the employer.

Hours per week 37.5
Working week Monday – Friday: 9:00 – 17:00 (30-minute lunch break) Hybrid working options available.
