Duties include:

• Processing non-stock OCR invoices through business central for approval and ensuring these are coded according to budget.
• Full accountability for the running and reconciliation of overheads expense reports across all departments.
• Preparation of the monthly management accounts journals including prepayments, accruals and depreciation.
• On a monthly basis making sure that all balance sheet schedules are up to date and reconciled.
• Support in the monthly compliance – multi-VAT returns, despatches, intrastat, packaging waste and plastic packaging.
• Support in the annual financial audit preparations and journal adjustments.
• Ensure on a regular basis all subsidiary company accounts are up to date and quarterly management accounts are produced.
• Working alongside Finance Manager to ensure month end tasks are complete in a timely manner.
• Supporting transactional team as and when required.
• Any other duties as required – Any miscellaneous tasks which you are asked to do from the Finance Manager or another department manager.

Salary range is £18,000 to £22,000

Entry requirements

Essential:

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above
• AAT Level 3 Qualified

Training to be provided

L4 Professional Accounting Apprenticeship

Training with Milton Keynes College

Ongoing training, support and development with the employer
