We are looking for a Graphic Designer who will bring creative inspiration and positive energy to our fast-growing restaurant brand. Under the guidance of the VP of Marketing, you will create best-in-class creative solutions that address strategic business objectives. The Graphic Designer will drive the creative process from concept through execution while remaining flexible, detail-oriented, and visionary. He or she will work to the highest possible standard, across all types of media with specific attention to print and digital executions.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a clear understanding of each brand’s overall aesthetic, seasonal campaign priorities, and current state of business in order to tailor work to support the needs of the business
Developing and editing design solutions for marketing materials such as packaging, signage, collateral, email, website, print and digital advertising, and promotional materials.
Present multiple solutions per project in a fast-paced environment.
Produce final print and digital artwork, ensuring all creative material is optimized and provided in the correct format for production.
Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process.
Ensure that all aspects of creative (visual and written) are appropriate, accurate, meet brand objectives, and adhere to a cohesive brand identity and voice.
Regularly review creative executions online and in-store to drive improvements and ensure campaign cohesion.
Update and maintain an organized asset management system for photography and graphic design files.
Direct and generate content creation for social, website, and other media.
Keep up with the latest hospitality industry trends.
Stay current with design, photography, and print production techniques, proposing new technologies and sharing this knowledge with the team.
Required Qualifications:
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; proficient with MS Office, (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Business Apps.
Experienced with illustration, motion graphics, HTML, copywriting, animation skills, and social media.
Demonstrated understanding of how to correctly build files for print and online production.
Working knowledge of Dropbox, Punchh, Mailchimp, and Asana platforms.
3+ years of professional design experience.
BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design/Visual Communication or relevant work experience.
An online portfolio of work.
A strong online portfolio that demonstrates graphic design abilities.

Strong attention to detail.
Self-starter with the ability to work productively and independently. Comfort with asking questions, pursuing answers, and operating with minimal guidance to move work forward.
Creativity skills and problem-solving attitude.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in an open-office environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with an eye toward prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
Ability to commute to our San Francisco (FiDi) office, 5 days a week.
