Mitsubishi Chemical America Hiring for Customer Service Representative () at Reading, PA Full Time

• Respond timely and accurately to inquiries of price, availability, stock replenishment, order fulfillment, etc. during initial call/email (one call resolution), working with channel partners. Quote system pricing or use limited pricing guidelines provided by management. Engage Tech Service, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics if/when the inquiry warrants.
• Process orders for Order Entry. Coordinate item # cross-reference with distribution to reduce errors and facilitate EDI functionality.
• Accurately and timely code orders, validate pricing, contracts, lead times, terms. Make necessary adjustments with customers to ISO standards.
• Support Regional/Territory Managers in their strategy. Understand and execute contracts in support of this end.
• Assist and backup other inside sales team members in other regions based on need.
• Initiate RA’s, credits and complaints for the Quality and Accounting Department. Act as the conduit between our teams and the customer to bring these issues to resolution.
• Travel to regional area of responsibility to gain understanding of customer needs.
• Support and work towards an injury-free environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Sales preferred
• 3-5 years experience in inside sales, customer service and/or related manufacturing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• PC literate (especially Microsoft office Suite), material properties, CSR with demonstrated ability
• Well organized and detail oriented with good planning skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities
• High level attention to detail

The salary range for this position is $53,000 – $55,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
