Located in the agriculture heart of Virginia, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join and become a key member of the finance team.

Key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

• Entering supplier invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconciliation of supplier statement and general ledger reconciliations of trade payable accounts
• Management of weekly supplier payments
• Attending to Accounts Payable queries promptly and in a professional manner.
• Assist with implementing changes in business processes as part of our ERP upgrade.
• Assist the wider finance team with various duties where required

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Accounts Payable experience 2 years +
• Accurate and fast data entry ability with strong attention to detail
• Strong organisation and prioritising skills
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
• Ability to use initiative within the workplace
• Willingness to work within a team and independently when required
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision / Business Central is preferred but not required.
