EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

POSITION PURPOSE

Research and draft a prospectus for a private round of investment in public interest equity. Work with 1)MacArthur ‘genius’ fellow, and 2)hedge fund industry veteran (managing members of the Mississippi Center for Investigative Reporting. This is an immediate opportunity to advance your career in nonprofit development and/or Wall Street analysis. Home-based job, salary commensurate with experience, performance bonus. Excellent position for someone with proven analytic and organizational skills, as well as an interest in rebuilding the Deep South news infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:

Organized, detail oriented, proficiency with the full suite of requisite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage confidential information.

Please provide 300 word writing sample.

Experience and proficiency with digital media or website design a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $100.00 per hour
