Mississauga Steel Mart is Looking for General Warehouse Associate – Night Shift Full Time

Welcome to Mississauga Steel Mart. We’ve been in the metal business for over 40 years providing material for every industry imaginable. We are looking for punctual, hardworking individuals to join our team. The primary role of the position is a warehouse associate, where you will be responsible for assisting with general operations.

We are looking for associates for our night shift – 3pm to midnight.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift a minimum of 60lbs
• Able to bend, kneel, lift constantly
• Good hygiene
• Able to work with different personality types
• Able to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• MUST BE comfortable working with heavy machinery such as saws and shears
• must be comfortable operating a forklift or willing to be trained and certified. Forklift/Combi certification is not necessary but a definite asset.

Prior experience within the metal industry is beneficial but is not a requirement of the role. Our business depends on team work and cooperation so applicants must be team players who are always willing to lay a helping hand. Applicants must also be above the age of 25 and will ideally have a driver’s license in good standing.
