Full Job Description

Swanton School seeks K-6 classroom teachers for the 2023-2024 school year. More specific assignments will be made once our team meets with candidates and determines the best fit. Successful candidates will be committed to data-driven high-quality first instruction based on critical content learning standards, particularly in literacy and math. Successful candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and our established school-wide systems of teaching, modeling and recognizing respectful, responsible and caring behaviors, as well as responding to rule-breaking behavior with our referral process.

A commitment to creating a classroom environment of belonging and respect for all learners, meaningfully engaging families, and strong collaboration with colleagues is expected.
