About our Role:
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a C++ Software Developer in Adelaide or Melbourne which involves working on a project developing a demonstrator for airborne systems for the Australian Defence Force. In this role, you will work as part of a team to understand the problems our customer is trying to solve, design and develop solutions to resolve our customer’s problems, and work with the project team to refine the solution to maximise customer value.

You will develop complex algorithms using C++ for execution on GPUs and Linux. A test harness and associated GUI to test and assess algorithm performance is also a deliverable for this project.

Please note – As this role involves working in a secure environment applicants must be Australian Citizens holding a Negative Vetting Level 1 AGSVA security clearance.

What we would like from you:

• Bachelor Degree or higher in a software development discipline
• A self-motivated individual with the ability to work under broad direction.
• Contribute to the design effort that maximises business value for our customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a customer facing role.
• Comfortable working with complex algorithms.
• Experience developing in C++.
• Experience developing tests at different level to optimise system quality.
