What to Expect:

Before someone can participate in the CNA course, we ask that you work with us in an ancillary department during the 90-day probationary period. During which time, you will have an opportunity to get to know the building, staff, and residents and show off your excellent work ethic and attendance! After this 90-day probationary period, you can apply for the company sponsored CNA course.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be able to pass drug and background check.
• Must be willing to work in ancillary department (housekeeping/Dietary/Maintenance) for :90 days prior to starting CNA class.
• Must maintain attendance and professionalism during probationary period prior to starting CNA course.
• Must submit application and pass associated reading test to be eligble for course.
• Must have experience being positive, receptive, and resourceful while serving a diverse population.
• No nursing experience required!!

We have dedicated, full-time instructors have been hand selected to lead a 4-week State-Approved course that is a varied and interesting balance of classroom time, lab, and clinical sessions so you have everything that you need for a successful and rewarding experience. No experience required! We are looking for positive, coachable, resourceful attitudes! Each person is well prepared to successfully complete the CNA certification course and pass the State Exam, so you can begin your new career path with Mission Health as soon as possible. It is important to us that your experience is an excellent one, and one that leads to outstanding outcomes for you, our community, and ultimately, our residents.
